The Agera RS stands for ultimate versatility on the road and race track. It offers extreme performance and is fully road-legal, complying with all safety, emissions and homologation regulations worldwide. The technology is based on the Koenigsegg One:1 program and combines state-of-the-art technology with the functionality of the earlier S and R models.
Practical features from the Agera R and S ranges have been adopted, including a usable luggage compartment and a removable hardtop that can be stowed inside – for convertible fun at any time.
Enhancements to the Agera RS include: advanced lightweight sound insulation, a track-optimized front splitter, front wing, side skirts, a dynamic underbody flap system and an actively controlled rear spoiler for additional downforce (up to 450 kg at 250 km/h). The RS also offers improved side air outlets behind the front wheels, more power and an increased rev limit.
Despite the additional functions and equipment, the kerb weight is lower than that of the Agera S and R models – thanks to modern composite materials and layup techniques from the One:1 program.
The Agera RS offers options such as Koenigsegg’s active self-leveling suspension package, 3G-linked pre-active suspension settings, alternative aero packages, active noise cancellation and much more.
The Agera RS holds the unbeaten top speed record for a homologated production vehicle on a public road. On November 4, 2017, a customer-owned Agera RS reached an average speed of 446.97 km/h (277.87 mph) during two runs in Nevada, USA.
